Jeremy was interviewed by the Bendifo Advetiser in the run up to the Bendigo HALT Brekky on the 18th March.

Registrations are now open for the upcoming Save Your Bacon breakfast.

Co-founder Jeremy Forbes said the Bendigo breakfast was gathering momentum.

“We are progressing very well,” he said.

“The main thing is that the registrations are open.

“People can go to the HALT website, they can register online at www.thehaltbreaky, they can email us at haltcastlemaine@outlook.com or they can call me on 0488 596 550.

“They can also go into Hume and Iser and register there.”

Mr Forbes said the first 250 people to register would receive a HALT bag at the event.

“The bag will have information about mental health networks and well-being as well as also goods donated by building supply companies.

“For tradies to comprehend it, the event is like a trade night but in breakfast form.

“So there will be donated goods from suppliers, we’ve got prizes in the morning.

“The first 250 people to register will also get a food parcel from Food Share.

“There’s no expectations upon tradies to have to talk about any issues they have.

“It literally is just come along and get your free egg and bacon roll and bag and then go again if they want, that’s fine.”

Mr Forbes said he had already received some positive feedback about the upcoming event.

“People are understanding, they’re comprehending what we’re doing,” he said.

“Everyone’s very positive, they’re all doing what they can to help which is great.

“It’s really about the community showing tradies that they care about them.”
